Take a week off in the middle of winter to fill up your vitamin D supply! Sail on the Tall Ship Alexander von Humboldt II from Gran Canaria and see where the winds take you. Enjoy the island hopping and relax under the warm Canarian sun during this week-long winter vacation. Languages on board are mainly German and English. In addition extra, per person € 50, – for harbor fees, pilotage and canal fees calculated. Surcharge for 2-bed cabin 25% p.p. For all Windseekers, minimum age 18 years.

Las Palmas de Gran Canaria is a cosmopolitan town, the shared capital (with Santa Cruz) of the Canary Islands. Situated on the ‘wet’ north side, the city feels more authentic than the touristy places on the ‘dry’ south side. Las Palmas offers beaches, cheap shopping, culture and excitement with a night life, primarily in the district of Vegueta. Its culture is decidedly Spanish, mixed with influences from all over the world, as Las Palmas’ port has been in operation for centuries.
