Due South! Sail Alexander von Humboldt from St. Malo in the north of France, across the Bay of Biscay and along Portugese coast before reaching Cadiz on the Atlantic coast of Spain. Escape the gray autumn of the north and follow the sun to the south of Spain. Hoist the sails, steer the Ship, stand on lookout and enjoy the life at sea! Languages on board are mainly German and English. For all Windseekers, minimum age 18 years.

Ports

St. Malo is an ancient town in the Brittany province of France and a major tourist destination. Visit the city ramparts to admire the old structures and beautiful vistas. Take a long walk along the Plage du Sillon beach before relaxing in the surf. Take some time to visit the unique Les Rochers Sculptes. Then go to the city and see the St Vincent Cathedral before trying some of the local food.

The oldest city in Spain, with a wealth of historic landmarks. Water is never far away, as the old town is built on a narrow stretch of land jutting out into the Mediterranean Sea. Get lost in the Old town with its many narrow, winding streets and visit one of the many parks that dot the city. Its many cathedrals and plazas are also well worth a visit. Go to La Caleta beach, at La Viña, the old fisherman quarter. Go catch a Flamenco concert and feast your taste buds with the fresh sea foods.
