Join the Black Diamond in Szczecin where the festivities for the ending of 2017 Tall Ships Races will be finishing. Spend some time exploring the city and other vessels before setting sail back to Black Diamon’s homeport in Hartlepool. Steer the Ship, trim the sails and meet other Windseekers who may become your new friends. For Windseekers age 16-25 years only.

Ports

Szczecin in North-Western Poland has a deep commitment to sail training. Discover the Underground City Trails: a network of bunkers from WWII with their unique atmosphere. If you're more of an outdorsy type, take a canoe along the Odra river or explore Bukowe Hills which hide the ruins of old bridges and are home to numerous boars and deer. Visit one of many museums or the Castle of Pomeranian Dukes or the beautiful rose gardens.

Hartlepool is a British port on the east coast of the UK, with a tradition of maritime activity. In 2010, the town played host to the Tall Ships Races, receiving some 125 Tall Ships in its harbor. Spend some time around the harbor and the city centre, visit the nearby North York Moors national park, or relive the heyday of the British navy at the Maritime Experience. If you have come to like the mastclimbing on board, there is a boulder park in Summerhill where you can reach for the top again!
