From Canaries to Cape Verde. Escape the grey and rain to Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and board the beautiful Ship for a 1,000 mile journey. Sail from Canary Islands to Cape Verde. Discover not one, but two exotic archipelagos, on two different continents. Take the time off to enjoy the Atlantic Ocean journey. Once you reach Cape Verde you will have 4 days to explore before you will disembark. Guest places open to Windseekers of all ages, minimum age 15 years. Places in luxury cabins available for € 3.500 p.p.

Las Palmas de Gran Canaria is a cosmopolitan town, the shared capital (with Santa Cruz) of the Canary Islands. Situated on the ‘wet’ north side, the city feels more authentic than the touristy places on the ‘dry’ south side. Las Palmas offers beaches, cheap shopping, culture and excitement with a night life, primarily in the district of Vegueta. Its culture is decidedly Spanish, mixed with influences from all over the world, as Las Palmas’ port has been in operation for centuries.

Palmeira is the third-largest town in Cape Verde, situated on the island of Sal, yet still has a small, village atmosphere. When you land in Palmeira you will have just completed an Atlantic Crossing, or at least a hefty 2700km sail south from Europe. Whilst resting in Palmeira, visit some bars and restaurants, or explore further to desert Oases, caves and beaches.
