Walk & Sail. This unique journey will take you on an exploration of Norway, including Trolltunga, Folgefonna Glacier, Rosendal and Preikestolen (Note: the final itinerary always depends on the weather conditions). You will sail from one beauttiful place to another, which you will be able to explore on foot. Climb a mountain, join a historical tour, try the local cider and walk on a glacier. Open for all ages, minimum age 15 years. The cost of excursions is not included in the price.

Programme Outline

1. Excursions from Odda. Choose between Trolltunga and a Historical walk. a) Trolltunga: A bus takes you to the starting point. You walk the mountain on your own. Estimated time is 10 hours. A very popular, but advanced tour for those in good shape. Price: € 25 b) Historical walk: We take a bus to the historical site Aga. Here you will have a spectacular view over the fjord. We walk in beautiful nature and eat a local taps-lunch with locally made applejuice. Price: € 145

2. Excursions from Rosendal. Choose between Folkefonna and visit to Baroniet Rosendal. a) Folgefonna, Guided tour on the Glacier. A bus takes you to the glacier. Shoes and equipment are included and you walk on the glacier with guide. The tour is app. 9 hours and suited for anyone in normal good shape. Price: € 190 b) Visit to Baroniet Rosendal. This is the only Manor in Norway, from 1665, surrounded by a beautiful garden. Price € 10

3. Excursions to Preikestolen. Bus to and from the starting point of the walk to famous Preikestolen. The walk is on your own. Price: € 20

Ports

Bergen is the gateway to the Fjords of Norway and a well-established cruise port. It's an international city packed with history and tradition, a big city with small-town charm and atmosphere. Stroll around old streets and alleyways, and mingle with the crowds at the Fish Market. Saunter along the listed wooden buildings at Bryggen to the old fortress at Bergenhus, or call in at one of Bergen’s museums and galleries. The panoramic views of the city, the fjord and the ocean are breathtaking.

Stavanger is a modern port, but retains a small historic district. The lovely old harbour is a favourite stopover for big cruiseships that tower over the buildings. The city has a lively cultural scene, and is surrounded by numerous outdoor destinations well worth a visit. Explore the narrow, rocky Lysefjord and the mountains Preikestolen and Kjerag, or relax on Jæren's beaches. Make sure to bring hiking boots, as the mountains stand over 1000 meters tall.
