For trainees who like to get the challenge of climbing the masts: that will be possible! The professional and permanent crew will teach you how to do it. The ship will enter the 29th of June in Stavanger at 12:00 hour and 29th and 30th is based at B&B (29th no lunch and dinner on board). You have time to explore Stavanger and surroundings. Open for all ages, minimum age 12. Age 12-15 years need to be accompanied by adults/parents. Dutch trainees: please look at the Dutch version of this voyage.

Ports

Den Helder is a beautiful town in the Netherlands, situated at the very tip of the North Holland province. Visit the Marinemuseum to learn more about the country's marine traditions, take a walk in the botanical gardens Oranjerie De Groene Parel Den Helder or admire sealife in the Fort Kijkduin Museum and Aquarium.

Stavanger is a modern port, but retains a small historic district. The lovely old harbour is a favourite stopover for big cruiseships that tower over the buildings. The city has a lively cultural scene, and is surrounded by numerous outdoor destinations well worth a visit. Explore the narrow, rocky Lysefjord and the mountains Preikestolen and Kjerag, or relax on Jæren's beaches. Make sure to bring hiking boots, as the mountains stand over 1000 meters tall.
