Christian Radich:
Las Palmas (ES) - Funchal, Madeira (PT) - Las Palmas (ES)

01 December - 08 December 2018

Sail from the Canary Islands to Madeira and back! This beautiful winter-time trip will take you to two very interesting archipelagos on the Atlantic Ocean. You will join the Ship in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria on Saturday evening, and just two hours later you will embark on a journey to Madeira. If the weather permits, you will reach Funchal on Tuesday morning and you will have a full day to visit, before sailing back the next morning. Friday night you should be back in Las Palmas and enjoy the farewell dinner on board. Next morning after breakfast you will disembark Christian Radich and go home with your batteries charged for the long winter. Or maybe you will book a hotel and spend a couple more days in Las Palmas? The choice is yours! Open for all ages, minimum age 15 years (age 12-15 years at request and accompanied by an adult).

Ports

Las Palmas de Gran Canaria is a cosmopolitan town, the shared capital (with Santa Cruz) of the Canary Islands. Situated on the ‘wet’ north side, the city feels more authentic than the touristy places on the ‘dry’ south side. Las Palmas offers beaches, cheap shopping, culture and excitement with a night life, primarily in the district of Vegueta. Its culture is decidedly Spanish, mixed with influences from all over the world, as Las Palmas’ port has been in operation for centuries.
