From Gran Canaria to Tenerife, In the Heart of the Canary Islands. One of the Eye of the Wind’s last voyages on the Canary Islands before she sails north for the summer. Enjoy the beautiful weather, volcaninc landscapes and dolphins frolicking in the waves while you sail from Gran Canaria to Tenerife with perfect winds. Open for all Windseekers, minimum age 15 years.
Las Palmas de Gran Canaria is a cosmopolitan town, the shared capital (with Santa Cruz) of the Canary Islands. Situated on the ‘wet’ north side, the city feels more authentic than the touristy places on the ‘dry’ south side. Las Palmas offers beaches, cheap shopping, culture and excitement with a night life, primarily in the district of Vegueta. Its culture is decidedly Spanish, mixed with influences from all over the world, as Las Palmas’ port has been in operation for centuries.
Los Abrigos is a small fishing village on the south coast of the island of Tenerife, in the Canary Islands archipelago. Unlike many party places in the islands, Los Abrigos is a hidden gem, a slice of real Tenerife, and not a tourist destination. Here you can visit local family restaurants and eat some fresh seafood, lunge back on a volcanic beach and take a stroll through authentic Canarian plaza before you sit down in one of the small cafes.
