* Places at request * Tall Ships Races delivery journey. You will board the green-sailed Alexander von Humboldt II (or Alex for short) in Kaliningrad – the part of Russia on the Baltic coast. Then you will set the course towards Denmark, passing by Poland and Germany. Finally you will reach Denmark, where many other vessels will be arriving for the Tall Ships Races opening festival. Enjoy meeting trainees from many different countries and visiting their ships. The official language on board is German. In addition extra, per person € 50, – for harbor fees, pilotage, etc. Surcharge for 2-bed cabin 25% p.p. For all Windseekers, minimum age 18 years.

Kaliningrad is the main town of the Kaliningrad Oblast, a Russian enclave between Poland and Lithuania. The strategic location on the Baltic Sea coast resulted in many battles fought over the city, as well as its long maritime traditions. Discover the B-413 Submarine Museum and scientific research vessel "Vityaz" - both part of the Museum of the World Ocean. Visit the Königsberg Cathedral, dating back to Prussian times, and walk around the city to take in the unique mix of architectural designs.

The Tall Ships Races 2019 will be visiting the grand port of Aalborg. Aalborg has had a love affair with The Tall Ships Races since 1999, when the city hosted the event for the first time. Aalborg is situated at the Liim Fiord where it was founded by Vikings over 1000 years ago. Today Aalborg is a modern city with visible historic roots. Its theatres, symphony orchestra, performance venues, and museums, make Aalborg a great place to wind down after an exhilarating Sail adventure.
