Anne-Margaretha: Den Helder (NL) - Stavanger (NO) - Bergen (NO)
19 April - 30 April 2021
Sailing & Hiking Adventure. Step on board Anne-Margaretha for the first leg of this season’s journey. Sail out of Amsterdam and towards the North Sea. You will spend a few days out on the open sea before reaching the shores of Norway. There you’ll visit Stavanger and Preikestulen, famous for the Pulpit Rock. Continue sailing up north, visiting different places along the way. The plan is to moor somewhere different every day to combine sailing and visiting beautiful places. This trip ends on April 30th at 12.00 pm in Bergen. We recommend that you book a flight home at the end of that day. Prices include €15 administration fee. Open for all Windseekers, minimum age 15 years (younger Windseekers on request, when accompanied by an adult).
Den Helder is a beautiful town in the Netherlands, situated at the very tip of the North Holland province. Visit the Marinemuseum to learn more about the country’s marine traditions, take a walk in the botanical gardens Oranjerie De Groene Parel Den Helder or admire sealife in the Fort Kijkduin Museum and Aquarium.
Bergen is the gateway to the Fjords of Norway and a well-established cruise port. It’s an international city packed with history and tradition, a big city with small-town charm and atmosphere. Stroll around old streets and alleyways, and mingle with the crowds at the Fish Market. Saunter along the listed wooden buildings at Bryggen to the old fortress at Bergenhus, or call in at one of Bergen’s museums and galleries. The panoramic views of the city, the fjord and the ocean are breathtaking.
