Voyage to the Atlantic Islands. Join Blue Clipper and improve your skills and your confidence in offshore sailing with this ocean crossing of the Bay of Biscay. Take the helm, trim the sails, stand on lookout and plot your course on navigation charts. After days of sailing on the ocean you will be rewarded for your efforts with some relaxing cruising down the coast of Galicia and through the Atlantic Islands to Camarinas. This voyage is only for those with sailing experience who are looking to build their miles or take part in an Ocean passage. For Windseekers aged 16+.
Weymouth is a state-of-the-art centre for water sports, and played host to the sailing regattas of the 2012 Olympic games. The town is a popular seaside spot with a nice beach, even though some of it is rather kitschy. Weymouth has just about the sunniest climate of the United Kingdom, further contributing to the town’s holiday feel. Weymouth is great for windsurfing, kitesurfing, diving and sailing. If you want to stretch your legs, the surrounding countryside offers many options for a hike.
Camarinas is a small port town in Spanish Galicia. Off the beaten track, it’s the perfect place to relax, admire the small bay and have a nice dinner in one of the local restaurants. Camarinas is well-known for its handcraft, specifically bobbin lace, and you can buy beautiful items directly from the people who make them. There’s even a museum dedicated to the craft. If you prefer to spend the time outdoors take a trip to the nearby cliffs of Cabo Vilán and visit the lighthouse.

What does it mean?
In short: you do not pay the booking amount to Windseeker but instead into an escrow account. This trust account holds your payment in reserve until your journey’s end. The booking amount is then released to Windseeker on the day after your trip ends. If Windseeker or the Ship should become financially insolvent before the end of your trip, STO Garant will implement the guarantee. The Guarantee Scheme details how you can make a claim under the guarantee in such cases. You can read more about this here.
