Ocean Mile Builder. Join Tall Ship Blue Clipper for this Offshore Sailing Experience, sailing form England to Portugal. This journey of 3 weeks is a great experience if you want to improve your offshore sailing knowledge and a great opportunity to build your confidence on deck and learn invaluable skills from the experienced crew. This is a hands-on voyage with full immersion into the ship’s daily routines and watch system while navigating the waters of the Atlantic. No matter whether you’re working towards your miles for RYA certificate or you’re an adventurer wishing to escape the daily life for a while, this journey is a great adventure! For Windseekers aged 16+.

Ports

Weymouth is a state-of-the-art centre for water sports, and played host to the sailing regattas of the 2012 Olympic games. The town is a popular seaside spot with a nice beach, even though some of it is rather kitschy. Weymouth has just about the sunniest climate of the United Kingdom, further contributing to the town’s holiday feel. Weymouth is great for windsurfing, kitesurfing, diving and sailing. If you want to stretch your legs, the surrounding countryside offers many options for a hike.

Portimão is a Portugese city in the southern region of Algarve. Take a stroll along the Alvor Boardwalk, relax on the white sands of the Praia Da Rocha beach and visit the Museu de Portimao for a little history lesson. You can also take a dolphin watching tour or do one of the multiple offered water sports.

What does it mean?

In short: you do not pay the booking amount to Windseeker but instead into an escrow account. This trust account holds your payment in reserve until your journey’s end. The booking amount is then released to Windseeker on the day after your trip ends. If Windseeker or the Ship should become financially insolvent before the end of your trip, STO Garant will implement the guarantee.
