The distance between Alicante and Malaga is not far, but sailing is drifting and going where the winds take you. On this voyage, you will have plenty of time to just be on board the Ship and feel the winds, the weather and the Mediterranean. Depending on the current conditions you might even anchor somewhere and refresh yourself by jumping straight into the water! After four days of sailing in the Mediterranean waters, you will moor in Malaga, known for sun and beautiful beaches. Embarkation is betweeen 16-18 but you can drop off your baggage any time since 10 and enjoy the day in Alicante, luggage-free. Open to Windseekers aged 12 and older, ages 12-14 must be accompanied by an adult.
Alicante is a port city on the Costa Blanca, Mediterranean coast of Spain. Visit Barrio Santa Cruz for a taste of authentic local culture and if you love everything sailing-related don’t miss the Volvo Ocean Race Museum.
Malaga is a town on the famous Costa del Sol in Spain. Founded in 8th century BC it is full of history and architectural gems. It’s also famous for being a birthplace of Pablo Picasso. This process is automatic and you do not need to do anything else. After receiving your booking, Windseeker will send you detailed information on how and when to pay for your journey – together with all the other important details.
What does it mean?
In short: you do not pay the booking amount to Windseeker but instead into an escrow account. This trust account holds your payment in reserve until your journey’s end. The booking amount is then released to Windseeker on the day after your trip ends. If Windseeker or the Ship should become financially insolvent before the end of your trip, STO Garant will implement the guarantee. The Guarantee Scheme details how you can make a claim under the guarantee in such cases. You can read more about this here.
