Sailing camp for young people aged 16-19. Imagine: no WiFi and no TV for a week, but new friends and special adventures. This is possible at this (sea) sailing camp on board the Netherlands’ largest gaff topsail schooner, the Eendracht. The wind determines where we go. After half a day on board, you’ll no longer remember that you didn’t know all those other nice people yesterday. In no time you will be sailing, laughing and enjoying time spent together as one team. You will learn by doing things yourself (of course under the professional supervision of the crew). Stand at the helm, hoist the sails, help with setting the table and cleaning. The Eendracht is a small private world in the middle of the sea, where we have to arrange everything ourselves. Are you coming? Open to young Windseekers aged 16-19. Please be aware that although the crew speaks English and English-speakers are welcome on board, the main language on board will be Dutch.

Ports

Rotterdam is the largest port of Europe, and a modern, bustling town. Much of the historic city centre was destroyed during World War II, but extensive rebuilding resulted in a modern, multicultural city with many architectural highlights. Rotterdam has excellent cultural facilities and a diverse nightlife; during the summer the city hosts a large number of events. Discover the city by bicycle and go for a coffee in Hotel New York, the former headquarters of the Holland America Line.

What does it mean?

In short: you do not pay the booking amount to Windseeker but instead into an escrow account. This trust account holds your payment in reserve until your journey’s end. The booking amount is then released to Windseeker on the day after your trip ends. If Windseeker or the Ship should become financially insolvent before the end of your trip, STO Garant will implement the guarantee.
