The town has maritime ties, seen when visiting the Aaland Maritime Museum and the impressive Pommern museumship. Don’t miss the old Maritime Quarter with its old fishermen houses and boats. With less than 12,000 inhabitants Mariehamn has a cozy and friendly atmosphere.
