Delivery to the Tall Ships Races. Join the Morgenster in Denmark to cross 650 nautical miles of the Baltic Sea towards Lithuania. Spend 10 days on board, learning to sail a traditional Tall Ship and discovering the coastal towns of the Baltic (weather permitting). Climb the masts, steer, navigate; make knots and sing shanties. Enjoy looking over the endless horizon during the day, and the tranquility of the night watches. Reach Klaipeda in time to experience the maritime festival, with many other ships in attendance. Join Crew Party and the Crew Parade, compete against other crews in games and have fun at concerts. Open to all Windseekers over 15 years old.
The Tall Ships Races 2019 will be visiting the grand port of Aalborg. Aalborg has had a love affair with The Tall Ships Races since 1999, when the city hosted the event for the first time. Aalborg is situated at the Liim Fiord where it was founded by Vikings over 1000 years ago. Today Aalborg is a modern city with visible historic roots. Its theatres, symphony orchestra, performance venues, and museums, make Aalborg a great place to wind down after an exhilarating Sail adventure.
Klaipéda is a city in Lithuania on the Baltic Sea coast. The city has long maritime traditions – it even hosts its own Sea Festival in July! – and its architecture bears influences from several different cultures (French, German, Swedish). Take a walk down the Friedricho pasažas, visit the reconstructed Meridianas ship, find the quirky Golden Mouse sculpture and visit the Clock Museum.

What does it mean?
In short: you do not pay the booking amount to Windseeker but instead into an escrow account. This trust account holds your payment in reserve until your journey’s end. The booking amount is then released to Windseeker on the day after your trip ends. If Windseeker or the Ship should become financially insolvent before the end of your trip, STO Garant will implement the guarantee. The Guarantee Scheme details how you can make a claim under the guarantee in such cases. You can read more about this here.
