International Exchange at The Tall Ships Races 2022: Race 2. The Morgenster will wait for you in the Belgian port city of Antwerp, ready to welcome you on board. Spend the evening meeting your shipmates, and get some rest before setting sail in the morning. Learn to sail a traditional Tall Ship, from setting sails to navigating, while making international friends and trying to win the race. Spend days on the North Sea, sailing in shifts – day and night – to reach your destination. The professional crew on board will teach you everything you need to know, and the mentors will organise games and propose fun activities. Enjoy being out on the open sea, admiring the sunset from up on the mast, trying national dishes of other countries and looking for dolphins. Finish the race and enter Aalborg in Denmark, with two days left on board to participate in crew activities: Crew Party, Crew Parade, games, competitions and much more! For Windseekers aged 15-25 years, 26-28 at request.
This city in Belgium is the capital of Antwerp province. With a population of 510,610 it is the most populous city in Belgium. Its metropolitan area houses around 1,200,000 people. Antwerp is on the River Scheldt, linked to the North Sea by the Westerschelde estuary. The Port of Antwerp is one of the biggest in the world, ranking third in Europe and within the top 20 globally. There is a theory about the name Antwerp: “The wharf where ships berth”.
The Tall Ships Races 2019 will be visiting the grand port of Aalborg. Aalborg has had a love affair with The Tall Ships Races since 1999, when the city hosted the event for the first time. Aalborg is situated at the Liim Fiord where it was founded by Vikings over 1000 years ago. Today Aalborg is a modern city with visible historic roots. Its theatres, symphony orchestra, performance venues, and museums, make Aalborg a great place to wind down after an exhilarating Sail adventure.

What does it mean?
In short: you do not pay the booking amount to Windseeker but instead into an escrow account. This trust account holds your payment in reserve until your journey’s end. The booking amount is then released to Windseeker on the day after your trip ends. If Windseeker or the Ship should become financially insolvent before the end of your trip, STO Garant will implement the guarantee. The Guarantee Scheme details how you can make a claim under the guarantee in such cases. You can read more about this here.
