Oosterschelde:
Palmeira (CV) - Palmeira (CV)

22 December 2020 - 02 January 2021

* Places at request * Holidays and New Year in Cape Verde. Escape the nortnern winter and busy Christmas season to a tropical archipelago and a 100-year-old Tall Ship! Visit several different islands, each with unique atmosphere. See popular spots and remote places. Spend most of your days either sailing or exploring, and most of the nights on anchor – though there will be some overnight crossings as well. Spend Christmas and New Year in a unique way and make lifelong memories! You will have the chance to join guided excursions for additional fees (approx. € 150 total, depending on the number of participans) or go off to explore on your own. Starting and ending the voyage on Sal Island will make it easier to arrange transfers, but remember to check the visa requirements for your country. Open for all Windseekers, minimum age 15 years.

Ports

Palmeira is the third-largest town in Cape Verde, situated on the island of Sal, yet still has a small, village atmosphere. When you land in Palmeira you will have just completed an Atlantic Crossing, or at least a hefty 2700km sail south from Europe. Whilst resting in Palmeira, visit some bars and restaurants, or explore further to desert Oases, caves and beaches.
