*Last minute discount!* Winter break in Cape Verde. Take some time off from daily troubles and spend 11 days relaxing in the tropics, sailing and exploring exotic places. This round-trip journey from Sal Island will take your to at least 6 different destinations – weather conditions permitting – from the most popular to very remote. Most days you will either sail or visit, while most nights will be spent on anchor, with a couple of overnight crossings planned as well. You can choose to discover the islands on your own or join organised excursions for additional fees (approx. € 140 in total). Open for all Windseekers, minimum age 15 years. IMPORTANT: In order to join this journey you must send a proof of vaccination 48h prior to the embarkation. If the situation gives cause to do so, the crew can ask you to take a Sars-Cov-2 Antigen rapid test when you come on board. All Oosterschelde crew members are vaccinated.

Palmeira is the third-largest town in Cape Verde, situated on the island of Sal, yet still has a small, village atmosphere. When you land in Palmeira you will have just completed an Atlantic Crossing, or at least a hefty 2700km sail south from Europe. Whilst resting in Palmeira, visit some bars and restaurants, or explore further to desert Oases, caves and beaches.

This process is automatic and you do not need to do anything else. After receiving your booking, Windseeker will send you detailed information on how and when to pay for your journey – together with all the other important details.

 

What does it mean?

In short: you do not pay the booking amount to Windseeker but instead into an escrow account. This trust account holds your payment in reserve until your journey’s end. The booking amount is then released to Windseeker on the day after your trip ends. If Windseeker or the Ship should become financially insolvent before the end of your trip, STO Garant will implement the guarantee.
