Lofoten Whales Expedition. This expedition above the Arctic Circle will take you around the Lofoten Archipelago in the North of Norway. These remote islands are famous for their rugged beauty. You will be sailing short distances and you will be able to spend the time discovering the visited places. Weather you love the sailing, hiking, photography or fishing – you will find something exciting to do on this voyage! If winds permit you will visit the area between Andenes and Senja where there are hight chances of meeting whales! Open to all Windseekers, minimum age 15 years.
Only 2000 km from the North Pole Tromsö is the capital of Norway’s high north, home to 70 000 inhabitants who live on the edge of the Arctic. This well operated cruise destination is positioned in a spectacular setting between islands, iconic fjords and mountain peaks, midway between the North Cape and Lofoten Islands. Primary attractions include nature and wildlife tours, the Polar Museum and the arctic Cathedral.
Bodø is a town in Norway, located north of the Arctic Circle. Bodø is home to the world’s strongest maelstrom. The city is perfect for outdoor activities like walking, kayaking, diving and fishing, but also for climbing and hiking in the mountain range. Besides of impressing nature, you find there lively urban scene with shopping centres and diverse choice of cultural activities.
