Join Picton Castle for the exploration of the Great Lakes. Step on board in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, for the Ship’s first voyage of the season. Spend 3 weeks on board, sailing along the Atlantic coast towards St. Lawrence River, and then inland towards Toronto. Learn to set and trim the sails, navigate, steer, and everything else that you need to know about sailing a Tall Ship. Spend early summer enjoying the life on board a traditional sailing Ship. Explore the local nature and famously beautiful Canadian landscapes – and don’t forget to look for the whales! Leave behind the stress of everyday life and take some time for yourself, enjoying the starry nights and adventure-filled days! Open for all Windseekers, minimum age 18 years.

Ports

Lunenburg is a Canadian port town in Lunenburg County, Nova Scotia. Historically the town was involved in several wars, including the American Revolution. Today the town is a fishery port and has several small shipyards that have managed to preserve the skills of the sailing era. Did you know that the replica of the ‘Bounty’ was built here? Visit the historic city centre on foot or by horse and carriage, and enjoy a leisurely hike in the grassy hills of the surrounding countryside.

Toronto is an international centre of business, finance, art and culture. Toronto is also widely known as on of the most multicultural and cosmopolitan cities in the world.
When you are here, why not take a trip from above the sea to under the sea and go visit Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada. Or take a trip to Toronto Zoo and feed the animals there. And if the weather is not the best you can take a tour at Art Gallery of Ontario.
