Denne side er for de trainees der har tilmeldt sig via Aarhus Kommune, Aarhus Events. /
This registration page is for trainees who have already registered with The City of Aarhus, Aarhus Events.
Join the adventure as a trainee from the host port of Aarhus if you are between 15 and 25 years old.
Take part in the first leg of the Tall Ships Races, sailing from Aarhus to Harlingen in the Netherlands. This spectacular race brings together ships from many different countries, with an international crew on board. The language on board will be English.
Upon arrival in Harlingen, you will take part in the festival celebrations, which feature special activities exclusively for crews. These include a Crew Party, sports events with trainees from other ships, and a Crew Parade.
Your journey begins on Friday, June 26 at 17:00, when you board the ship in the port of Aarhus. You will disembark in Harlingen on Sunday, July 5, and return to Aarhus together with the group.
Important: You are responsible for arranging your own travel insurance, or ensuring that your medical insurance covers healthcare costs in the Netherlands.
Register for Race 1 at the bottom of this page. Below you will see the available vessels: please choose your top three and write them down in the form, in order of preference.
If you would like to be on the same ship as someone else, include that person’s name in the comments section. Your friend must select the same vessels as you. If possible, both of you should complete the form on the same day.
If you include Statsraad Lehmkuhl in your top three, please note that a passport is required (you won’t be allowed to get on board with an ID card). You can choose Statsraad Lehmkuhl as one of your choices even if you currently don’t have a valid passport – in that case, please apply for one as soon as possible, and update Windseeker when you have the new document.
In a situation that your top three vessels will not be available, we will place you on a different ship.
Be aware you need to be 15 years old at the start of the voyage – this is the rule of the event and exceptions will not be possible!
