History

Originally built in 1948 by Chantiers et Ateliers Augusting Normand in Le Havre as the double-beam Arctic Trawler Pelikan," this vessel later transitioned to a new chapter in her maritime journey. After two decades of service, she was sold to Norway and repurposed as a coaster under the name Kadett. Subsequently, she found her way to Dorset, England, where she underwent a remarkable transformation into a sail training vessel.
