MilPat, originally named Michel-et-Patrick, was launched in 1962 for fishing, primarily in the Irish Sea and southern Finistère. It had an oak hull, two masts, and a trawl net. 

Under a 15-year contract, Fécamp Vieux Gréements – AFDAM acquired the vessel for operation, with a commitment to restore it as a pleasure sailboat. The shipbuilding work was extensive, as the boat required a complete rebuild. The project lasted eight years and resulted in a traditional sailboat in perfect condition. The former fishing hold was converted into a comfortable living space: kitchen, berths, bathroom, and a large family table.

On board MilPat, you’ll find all the comforts you need! The ship can accommodate up to 12 participants There is a large galley with a spacious dining table that seats up to 14-16 people. Accommodations are shared, and everyone has their own bunk. There is also a bathroom and a toilet on board.
