*No places available anymore* Join the Atyla! From A Coruña, ATYLA will sail east through the Bay of Biscay, above the coast of Gijón and Santander, before reaching Bilbao. On board you participate in the daily working of the ship alongside professional seamen, standing lookout, manning the helm, helping in the galley, hoisting sail and voluntarily have the chance to climb the rigging/mast. Open for all Windseekers, minimum age 15 years.

Ports

A Coruña is a port town in the north west of Spain. Here you will find the Tower of Hercules, a lighthouse that has been in operation for 1.800 years! The town itself is an affluent commercial and tourism hub, with plenty of things to see and do. Visit the popular beaches, explore the city centre, or sample some of the many cultural activities. The Aquarium Finisterrae lets you explore the marine life of the region. But if you prefer your fish on a plate, A Coruña’s restaurants can help you out.

Bilbao is a port in the northern tip of the Iberian peninsula, founded in the 14th century. Later on it became an important commercial hub for the Basque region. Today, Bilbao is a vigorous service city. The iconic Bilbao Guggenheim museum is a must-see. Also take some time to walk around the city centre and visit the Exteberria Park. Around the city you can do many outdoor activities such as rock climbing, hiking and surfing.
