Eendracht:
Rotterdam (NL) - Rotterdam (NL)

15 April - 17 April 2022

Easter Weekend Sailing. Go for something unusual this spring and spend the Easter break on a ship! Join the Eendracht in Rotterdam for a 2-day adventure, sailing where the wind takes you. Learn to sail the ship, together with other trainees, under the guidance of experienced crew. Trim the sails for maximum speed, trace your route on sea charts, steer the impressive ship all by yourself. Feel the power of the wind and the exhilarating freedom of sailing! Make new friends, learn a couple of shanties and try your hand at the knots. There is no set itinerary for this voyage, which means a lot of flexibility to choose a route with the best sailing conditions. This short journey is a perfect alternative to traditional Easter celebrations, and a great taster for a first Sail Training trip. Open to Windseekers aged 15-80.

Ports

Rotterdam is the largest port of Europe, and a modern, bustling town. Much of the historic city centre was destroyed during World War II, but extensive rebuilding resulted in a modern, multicultural city with many architectural highlights. Rotterdam has excellent cultural facilities and a diverse nightlife; during the summer the city hosts a large number of events. Discover the city by bicycle or on foot – or take a train to the nearby Hague.

STO Garant

This Journey is covered by the STO Garant guarantee. You can find the conditions for this guarantee scheme on STO Garant’s website (www.sto-garant.nl/en/downloads).

This process is automatic and you do not need to do anything else. After receiving your booking, Windseeker will send you detailed information on how and when to pay for your journey – together with all the other important details.

What does it mean?

In short: you do not pay the booking amount to Windseeker but instead into an escrow account. This trust account holds your payment in reserve until your journey’s end. The booking amount is then released to Windseeker on the day after your trip ends. If Windseeker or the Ship should become financially insolvent before the end of your trip, STO Garant will implement the guarantee. The Guarantee Scheme details how you can make a claim under the guarantee in such cases. You can read more about this here.
