FULLY BOOKED – This Journey will start in Vlissingen, here you will meet the crew, get a safety explanation, a tour around the Ship. After this you will sail to Honfleur. Honfleur belongs to one of the most beautiful places in France and is definitely worth to visit. The way you will sail depents on the weather and the wind. On the way you will probably stop at the English coast. Age 15-25 years, age 14 years at request. For Dutch trainees there will be a bus organised, price 50 EUR. If you like to join the bus, just let us know!

Ports

Vlissingen, a city in the southwestern Netherlands on the former island of Walcheren. It is best known for its centuries-old harbour as well as shipyards of the Dutch Royal Navy. The longstanding marine traditions can be seen in the Maritime Muzeeum – you can spend hours there! Stretch your legs by taking a little stroll down the Boulevard van Vlissingen with its many establishments and go to see the Panorama Walcheren and the Sint Jacob church.

Honfleur is a Norman harbor commune (department of Calvados) of the Seine estuary. In the port, narrow houses reflected in the basin are the main tourist attraction. Honfleur has inspired many artists, musicians as filmmakers. Many well known sailors were born there. The city is best known for its Old Basin, characterized by its houses with facades covered with slate, and have been repeatedly represented by artists including Gustave Courbet or Claude Monet, forming the school of Honfleur which c
