Rotterdam is the largest port of Europe, and a modern, bustling town. Much of the historic city centre was destroyed during World War II, but extensive rebuilding resulted in a modern, multicultural city with many architectural highlights. Rotterdam has excellent cultural facilities and a diverse nightlife; during the summer the city hosts a large number of events. Leith is the port district of the Scottish capital of Edinburgh. As well as giving access to the picturesque Old Town of Edinburgh, Leith is it’s own seaside town. After years of re-generation, you can not explore the cozy restaurants, cafes and pubs on the seafront, or get the bus into the historic city centre.
Sunderland is a coastal city in North East England, aging back to the 7th century. Whether you’re a nature or a culture lover, you will surely find a bunch of nice activities to do!
