Ascension weekend sailing. Ready for a short break? Have you always wanted to sail on a large sailing ship, but a long journey seemed too much? Do you like adventure, action and fun? Then book a place on this trip and discover the world of sea sailing! Step on board the Eendracht in Rotterdam to be welcomed by the crew. The coffee and tea are ready and as soon as everyone is on board, the skipper will give his word of welcome. The ropes will be released and you will sail to the sea over the Nieuwe Waterweg. After about 2,5 hours of sailing, you will reach the North Sea. Then it is: All hands on deck! Hoist the sails, grab the helm, and feel the wind in your hair as you leave the land-based worries behind!
Open to Windseekers aged 15-80.

Ports

Rotterdam is the largest port of Europe, and a modern, bustling town. Much of the historic city centre was destroyed during World War II, but extensive rebuilding resulted in a modern, multicultural city with many architectural highlights. Rotterdam has excellent cultural facilities and a diverse nightlife; during the summer the city hosts a large number of events. Discover the city by bicycle or on foot – or take a train to the nearby Hague.

This Journey is covered by the STO Garant guarantee. You can find the conditions for this guarantee scheme on STO Garant’s website (www.sto-garant.nl/en/downloads).

This process is automatic and you do not need to do anything else. After receiving your booking, Windseeker will send you detailed information on how and when to pay for your journey – together with all the other important details.

 

What does it mean?

In short: you do not pay the booking amount to Windseeker but instead into an escrow account. This trust account holds your payment in reserve until your journey’s end. The booking amount is then released to Windseeker on the day after your trip ends. If Windseeker or the Ship should become financially insolvent before the end of your trip, STO Garant will implement the guarantee.
