Set sail from Tenerife for a four-night adventure through the Canary Islands, combining Atlantic sailing with time to discover two very different islands. Your first stop is La Gomera, one of the archipelago’s smallest and most unspoilt islands. Step ashore in San Sebastián and venture further to discover dramatic ravines, lush valleys and the ancient laurel forests of Garajonay National Park. Back at sea, sail towards Gran Canaria: take the helm, help set the sails, learn the ropes with the crew or simply enjoy life on deck and the Atlantic stretching to the horizon. The voyage ends in Las Palmas, bringing together wild island landscapes, open-ocean sailing and the unique experience of arriving in the Canaries aboard a historic four-masted schooner.
For Windseekers aged 14-80 years (trainees younger than 18 have to be accompanied by an adult).

Ports

Tenerife is the largest of the Canary Islands, and a popular tourist destination. One of the largest Carnival festivals is hosted here, and for tourists there is a lot to see and do. But the island is large enough to escape mass tourism, so let its natural beauty seduce you to a hike or a drive around the island. You’ll find mountains to climb, cliffs overlooking bays, and ravines. The ‘Island of eternal spring’ is just what you need if you arrive fresh from your Journey!

This Journey is covered by the STO Garant guarantee. You can find the conditions for this guarantee scheme on STO Garant’s website (www.sto-garant.nl/en/downloads).

This process is automatic and you do not need to do anything else. After receiving your booking, Windseeker will send you detailed information on how and when to pay for your journey – together with all the other important details.

 

What does it mean?

In short: you do not pay the booking amount to Windseeker but instead into an escrow account. This trust account holds your payment in reserve until your journey’s end. The booking amount is then released to Windseeker on the day after your trip ends. If Windseeker or the Ship should become financially insolvent before the end of your trip, STO Garant will implement the guarantee.
