Join the Alexander von Humboldt for a 13 days voyage .You will start in Cartagena in Colombia. You will end this special voyage in Cristobal. On board you participate in the daily working of the ship alongside professional seamen, standing lookout, manning the helm, helping in the galley, hoisting sail and voluntarily have the chance to climb the rigging/mast. Language on board German and English. Open to all ages, minimum age 14 years.

Cartagena is the fifth-largest city of Colombia and is located on the northern coast of the country.
The city has the biggest navy basic of the Caribbean. Around the city there are a lot of buildings of defence like the castle, city walls around the Old City and the fort of San Jose and San Fenando. In addition, there are a lot of colonial things to see and a lot of touristic activities.

Cristóbal, Colón, is a port in Panama named after Christopher Columbus. It is located next to the Atlantic entrance to the Panama Canal. The province of Colón is full of national parks, making it a perfect palce to go on short and long hiking adventures. You can also visit one of the old churches for their architecture and history.
