The last journey of the season. Board the Atyla in northern France and help to bring her home to Bilbao. In this journey you will sail across the Bay of Biscay, famous for its unpredictable conditions – but also aboundance of wildlife. On board you will take part in a Sail Training programme, but also Atyla’s trademark – coaching sessions, which in this journey are likely to be about the environmental responsibility in connection to the ecosystem you will be crossing. Open for all Windseekers, minimum age 15 years. Special price for the first 6 trainees. Sail as a passenger for EUR 1,430. Since this is the last international trip of the season, the disembarkation day of this trip is flexible. You can leave the ship any time from the169th of September at 7pm, until the 18th at 10am.

Ports

Le Havre is a large north French maritime commercial and passenger port established in the early XVI century. The city in on the UNESCO World Heritage Site for its historical buildings and is considered a birthplace of impressionism. Walk in the steps of Monet and discover the places you know from modern art. Take a hiking tour, visit one of the nearby castles (chateau), the Graville abbey, see the hanging gardens or take a walk in one of the many city parks.

Bilbao is a port in the northern tip of the Iberian peninsula, founded in the 14th century. Later on it became an important commercial hub for the Basque region. Today, Bilbao is a vigorous service city. The iconic Bilbao Guggenheim museum is a must-see. Also take some time to walk around the city centre and visit the Exteberria Park. Around the city you can do many outdoor activities such as rock climbing, hiking and surfing.
