Join the Atyla! From Sines, ATYLA will sail north through the Atlantic Ocean, up the coast of Portugal past the cities of Lisbon and Porto towards A Coruña. On board you participate in the daily working of the ship alongside professional seamen, standing lookout, manning the helm, helping in the galley, hoisting sail and voluntarily have the chance to climb the rigging/mast. Open for all Windseekers, minimum age 15 years.

Ports

Sines is a small Portugese city with a large port, famous for being the birthplace od Vasco da Gama. Formerly a fishing village, the town center retained its quiant atmosphere, despite fast-paced industrialisation. Today you can relax on ofe of the beautiful beaches or, if you feel like taking a walk, climp up to the XV-century castle and take in the beautiful vista.

A Coruña is a port town in the north west of Spain. Here you will find the Tower of Hercules, a lighthouse that has been in operation for 1.800 years! The town itself is an affluent commercial and tourism hub, with plenty of things to see and do. Visit the popular beaches, explore the city centre, or sample some of the many cultural activities. The Aquarium Finisterrae lets you explore the marine life of the region. But if you prefer your fish on a plate, A Coruña’s restaurants can help you out.
