Eendracht:
Palmeira (CV) - Palmeira (CV)

04 December - 15 December 2022

Dive into the Cape Verdean pace with the Eendracht. Step on board and discover the different islands of this amazing Atlantic archipelago. The area is an absolute sailing paradise because there is always wind and a wonderful temperature. The water is full of different types of fish, mammals such as whales and dolphins, and sea turtles. The diverse landscape is known for black volcano slopes, sandy deserts and a foaming, deep blue ocean. During this journey you will sail to and visit different islands of Cape Verde; perhaps Sao Vicente, Santiago or Fogo. Just remember that there is no set itinerary and the captain will choose the best route for optimal sailing conditions. This way you’ll be able to follow the best weather, while still exploring exotic locations! Open to Windseekers aged 15-80.

Ports

Palmeira is the third-largest town in Cape Verde, situated on the island of Sal, yet still has a small, village atmosphere. When you land in Palmeira you will have just completed an Atlantic Crossing, or at least a hefty 2700km sail south from Europe. Whilst resting in Palmeira, visit some bars and restaurants, or explore further to desert Oases, caves and beaches.

STO Garant

This Journey is covered by the STO Garant guarantee. You can find the conditions for this guarantee scheme on STO Garant’s website (www.sto-garant.nl/en/downloads).

This process is automatic and you do not need to do anything else. After receiving your booking, Windseeker will send you detailed information on how and when to pay for your journey – together with all the other important details.

What does it mean?

In short: you do not pay the booking amount to Windseeker but instead into an escrow account. This trust account holds your payment in reserve until your journey’s end. The booking amount is then released to Windseeker on the day after your trip ends. If Windseeker or the Ship should become financially insolvent before the end of your trip, STO Garant will implement the guarantee. The Guarantee Scheme details how you can make a claim under the guarantee in such cases. You can read more about this here.
