To Scotland and back! Step on board the Eendracht for a beautiful summer journey. Sail out of Rotterdam, and set the sails to cross the North Sea towards Great Britain. Enjoy the time spent without cellphone service, focusing on sailing, and making connections with other trainees. Explore Great Britain, making your way all the way to Scotland, before beginning the journey back to the Netherlands. Learn to sail a Tall Ship, steer, navigate, and look out for dolphins. Learn some shanties, and watch the stars without light pollution.
Open to Windseekers aged 15-80.

Ports

Rotterdam is the largest port of Europe, and a modern, bustling town. Much of the historic city centre was destroyed during World War II, but extensive rebuilding resulted in a modern, multicultural city with many architectural highlights. Rotterdam has excellent cultural facilities and a diverse nightlife; during the summer the city hosts a large number of events. Discover the city by bicycle and go for a coffee in Hotel New York, the former headquarters of the Holland America Line.

This Journey is covered by the STO Garant guarantee. You can find the conditions for this guarantee scheme on STO Garant’s website (www.sto-garant.nl/en/downloads).

This process is automatic and you do not need to do anything else. After receiving your booking, Windseeker will send you detailed information on how and when to pay for your journey – together with all the other important details.

 

What does it mean?

In short: you do not pay the booking amount to Windseeker but instead into an escrow account. This trust account holds your payment in reserve until your journey’s end.
