Eye of the Wind:
Riga (LV) - Klaipeda (LI)

24 July - 29 July 2016

Step on board of Eye of the Wind, the Journey starts in the Latvian capital Riga and is ideal for nature lovers. Sailing within sight of the coastline is the name of the program for this Journey. The beaches of the Kurzeme mainland stretch out on the horizon. You will enjoy shore excursions in Ventspils and Liepaja alternate with nights at the anchorage. The port of destination is the Lithuanian harbor of Klaipeda, where the Sea Festival – a grand get-together of traditional Tall Ships – will take place upon our arrival.

Riga is the capital and the largest city of Latvia, dating back to the beginning of the 13th century. The Old Town of Riga is a World Heritage Site. Take a walk around the town, discover the Soviet heritage, explore the whimsical Sun Museum or spend a day at the beach.
