Gallant:
Amsterdam (NL) - Greenwich (GB)

24 August - 25 August 2015

If you need to be in London by August 26th 2015, then this is the perfect Journey for any Windseeker! Cross the English Channel from Amsterdam to Greenwich and bring all the luggage you can carry on this ship delivery with the Gallant. Time is tight, so you’ll be motoring if there’s no wind. But the crew of the Gallant WANTS to sail, so prepare to get busy hoisting sails, taking the helm, being on lookout and doing whatever needs done. Once across the North Sea, you’ll sail up the Thames estuary before arriving in London. Experience the English countryside from the water and arrive in Greenwich, from where you can easily make your way to your next destination. Perfect for Windseekers with little time in their busy schedule! Open for all ages, minimum age 15 years (from age 12 years at request)

Ports

With more bicycles than people, cycling is an integral part of Amsterdam’s DNA. Hop on and see the city like the locals do! Winding waterways, idyllic bridges and historic buildings – one of the most memorable ways to truly see Amsterdam is from the canals. Amsterdam has a full cultural agenda showcasing the very best festivals, nightlife, exhibitions & events, plus there is enough practical tourist info, hotel, museum, excursion & attraction listings, you won’t miss a thing!

Greenwich is a district of southeast London, notable for its role in Maritime history. Opulent buildings dot the shorelines of the Thames River, and the famous Cutty Sark clipper is also on display here. Greenwich has a village feel, and its parks and riverside pubs make for a rewarding stroll around the area, and the rest of London is within easy reach by underground. Visit the National Maritime Museum, the Imperial War museum, or go window-shopping in Greenwich’s affluent shopping streets.
