*Last 4 places available!* The Tall Ships Races 2022: Race 2. The last race of this year’s even is quite a journey! You will board Patricia in Antwerp, a Belgian city with long maritime traditions. Leave the port in a Parade of Sail with dozens of other vessels, before starting the race. Spend several days and nights at sea, sailing north towards Denmark. Steer, navigate and trim the sails to perfection in order to cross the finish line first. Sleek and fast, Patricia is a strong competitor! No sailing experience necessary – you will learn everything you need to know on board. Reach your destination in time to stretch those sea legs and spend the last two days in Aalborg. Join the Crew Parade in town, take part in an award ceremony and meet trainees from other vessels at the Crew Party. For all Windseekers aged 15+

Ports

Antwerp is a beauitful Belgian city on the River Scheldt, connected to the North Sea via the Westerschelde estuary. With deep maritime roots, it’s home to one of the world’s largest ports. Arriving by train? You’ll be welcomed by the stunning Antwerpen-Centraal station. Art enthusiasts will enjoy the Rubens House and the contemporary Museum aan de Stroom, while Chocolate Nation, the world’s largest Belgian chocolate museum, offers a delicious experience for just about everyone.

Aalborg has shared a special connection with The Tall Ships Races since first hosting the event in 1999. Located on the Limfjord, the city was founded by Vikings over a thousand years ago and still proudly showcases its historic roots. Today, Aalborg is a modern, vibrant city with a rich cultural scene – home to theatres, a symphony orchestra, museums, and performance venues. It’s the perfect place to relax and reflect after an unforgettable sailing adventure.

This process is automatic and you do not need to do anything else. After receiving your booking, Windseeker will send you detailed information on how and when to pay for your journey – together with all the other important details.

 

What does it mean?

In short: you do not pay the booking amount to Windseeker but instead into an escrow account. This trust account holds your payment in reserve until your journey’s end.
