Board the St Lawrence II in charming St. Peter’s and sail around Nova Scotia to Saint John in New Brunswick. Visit festivals in Lunenburg and Digby. Explore the unique seascapes, ports, towns, and bays of the Canadian Maritimes. This beautiful voyage of 13 days will let you get your sea legs and truly experience life on a Tall Ship, while discovering the beautiful nature of Canada. This voyage qualifies as Duke of Edinburgh Gold Preliminary, Practice and Qualifying Journey. Open to young Windseekers between 15 and 23 years old only. Costs in Canadian dollars: $ 1,760 CAD.

Ports

St. Peter’s is a small village located on a small isthmus in Richmond County, Canada, and is one of North America’s oldest European establishments. Have a picnic in Battery Provincial Park or walk on one of the hiking trails. Visit the Nicholas Denys Museum that is only open during the summer.

Saint John is the only city on the Bay of Fundy, New Brunswick, Canada, situated at the mouth of Sain John river. It is a perfect starting point for many trips to admire the Canadian nature: the Irving Nature Park, Rockwood Park or the Reversing Falls, to name a few. You can also visit the Carleton Martello Tower or the New Brunswick Museum to learn more about the area. Finally take a walk at an indoor city market where you can taste local specialities and buy some handcrafted souvenirs.
