Statsraad Lehmkuhl:
Os (NO) - Os (NO)

21 June - 26 June 2015

Set course from Os, close to Bergen, to Shetland this Midsummer. If you have ever yearned to be at the helm of a beautiful Tall Ship, this voyage is for you. Join the Statsraad Lehmkuhl for a Sail Training adventure worthy of any Windseeker. The professional crew will teach you all you need to know. You will be actively involved in all aspects of sailing the ship, participating in her daily routines alongside the regular sailors, sleeping in a hammock and enjoying the fabulous meals on board. Meanwhile you’ll experience the impossibly long days and seemingly neverending sunsets of midsummer at high latitudes. Open to all ages, minimum age 12 years. Age 12-15 accompanied by an adult/parent.

Ports

Os is a quiet port town in the south of Norway, close to Bergen. The town is located close to the Lysefjorden, the Fusafjorden, and the Bjørnafjorden – a perfect spot for discovering the Norwegian countryside. Make a hike and visit a few of the many small islands nearby and learn about the local wildlife, or stay in town and check out the small boat building businesses. The Oseana Art and Culture centre hosts art and music events year-round, so don’t forget to check the local agenda.
