Eye of the Wind:
Los Abrigos, Tenerife (ES) - Lanzarote (ES)

04 March - 11 March 2017

Sail the Eye of the Wind on her last Canarian voyage before setting course north for the summer. This is your last chance this season to enjoy the volcanic scenery of the islands, with perfect sunshine and good winds. Take a swim in the blue ocean, relax on the beach, or go for a walk between the palm trees. Open for all Windseekers, minimum age 15 years.

Ports

Los Abrigos is a small fishing village on the south coast of the island of Tenerife, in the Canary Islands archipelago. Unlike many party places in the islands, Los Abrigos is a hidden gem, a slice of real Tenerife, and not a tourist destination. Here you can visit local family restaurants and eat some fresh seafood, lunge back on a volcanic beach and take a stroll through authentic Canarian plaza before you sit down in one of the small cafes.

Lanzarote is one of 7 main islands in the Spanish Canary Islands Archipelago on the Atlantic Ocean. It is often referred to as a "volcano island". For the evidence of ongoing volcanic activity visit the Timanfaya National Park and Cueva de los Verdes. Go swimming, snorkelling or windsurfing in the blue waters or relax on the beach, or visit the cactus garden. You can also take a stroll through one of the small towns and try the local wine.
