Statsraad Lehmkuhl:
Bergen (NO) - Lerwick (GB) - Bergen (NO)

18 May - 23 May 2018

Join the Pride of Bergen, Statsraad Lehmkuhl, on this ‘Whitsun voyage’ from Bergen to charming Shetland. Take this unique opportunity to experience the North Sea and the picturesque Shetland islands aboard one of the world’s most beautiful sailing ships. You will have 1 full day in Lerwick to enjoy this beautiful place and surroundings. The Shetland Islands consist of roughly 100 islands straight west of Bergen, Norway. The first Vikings settled here around the 8th century and called them Hjaltland, though remains of settlements from the stone- and bronze age indicate that people have been living here for over 6000 years. During WWII Norwegian freedom fighters were based in Scalloway, west of Lerwick. More information about Shetland: www.visitshetland.com. It’s possible to sleep an extra night on board before after your journey. Price € 60 p.p.p.n. including breakfast.

Ports

Bergen is the gateway to the Fjords of Norway and a well-established cruise port. It's an international city packed with history and tradition, a big city with small-town charm and atmosphere. Stroll around old streets and alleyways, and mingle with the crowds at the Fish Market. Saunter along the listed wooden buildings at Bryggen to the old fortress at Bergenhus, or call in at one of Bergen’s museums and galleries. The panoramic views of the city, the fjord and the ocean are breathtaking.
