Eendracht:
Rotterdam (NL) - Rotterdam (NL)

14 April - 17 April 2017

Sailing during Easter – step aboard the Eendracht on the 14th of April in 2017! The Eendracht departs the same day to open sea. Together we will hoist the sails and start the watch system ‘4 hours on and 8 hours off’. Sailing experience is not necessary, because our crew can teach you! During the watchsystem you will be involved in different activities, such as putting on the sails, steering the ship or other chores aboard. Beside the watchsystem there’s plenty of time to relax and enjoy the sea! Where we sail to, remains a surprise. We are guided by the wind and weather. From Rotterdam there are many options to go to such as Belgium, England or along the Dutch coast. If possible, we stop to stretch our legs on the mainland. The Unity docks at the end of this sailing trip again in the harbor of Rotterdam. Open for all Windseekers, minimum age 15 years.

Ports

Rotterdam is the largest port of Europe, and a modern, bustling town. Much of the historic city centre was destroyed during World War II, but extensive rebuilding resulted in a modern, multicultural city with many architectural highlights. Rotterdam has excellent cultural facilities and a diverse nightlife; during the summer the city hosts a large number of events. Discover the city by bicycle and go for a coffee in Hotel New York, the former headquarters of the Holland America Line.
