Ports

Bergen is the gateway to the Fjords of Norway and a well-established cruise port. It’s an international city packed with history and tradition, a big city with small-town charm and atmosphere. Stroll around old streets and alleyways, and mingle with the crowds at the Fish Market. Saunter along the listed wooden buildings at Bryggen to the old fortress at Bergenhus, or call in at one of Bergen’s museums and galleries. The panoramic views of the city, the fjord and the ocean are breathtaking.

Shetland is a Scottish archipelago, with traces of human activity dating back to 4.000 b.c. With so much (pre)history it’s no wonder that there are many archeological sites. Visit the Broch of Mousa, Scalloway Castle & Museum or walk in the Vikings’ footsteps and learn about this fascinating culture. If you’re a nature-loving Windseeker, Shetland has a lot to offer you, including hiking trips and wildlife watching. And you will, of course, meet a lot of famous Shetland Ponies!
