Bark Europa:
Ushuaia (AR) - Puerto Natales (CL)

20 March - 28 March 2020

Sailing through the Chilean fjords. Enter the Pacific via the impressive Chilean Channels. Explore Southern Chile and its snowcapped fjords and glaciers. Visit Puerto Williams and hike the most southern trek of South America on Isla Navarino. Then sail through the beautiful channels and fjords of Southern Chilean Patagonia, all the way to a fishing port Puerto Natales, famous for its beautiful surrounding nature. Learn to sail a traditional Tall Ship, enjoy the friendly atmosphere on board and explore some of the less visited areas of the world. Open to Windseekers of 15 years and older.

Ports

Ushuaia is commonly regarded as the most southern city in the World or 'El Fin del Mundo'. This Argentinian port is known as a starting point for expeditions to Antarctica. The city was originally built up around a prison in the early 20th century, but today tourists come to Ushuaia to visit the national park Tierra del Fuego, go skiing in the nearby mountains, or sail the Beagle canal. Ushuaias’ windy subpolar climate serves to reinforce the notion that you’re at the ‘end of the world’.

Puerto Natales is a Patagonian city in southern Chile. Located next to the Torres del Paine National Park and the Patagonian fjords it is a great tourist destination for those who like outdoor adventures. Spend a day exploring the surrounding nature by bike, or join a kayaking excursion. Visit the Nao Victoria Museum in nearby Punta Arenas or enjoy a leisurely meal in one of the local restaurants.
