Eendracht:
A Coruña (ES) - Vigo (ES) - A Coruña (ES)

18 July - 25 July 2027

Explore the Coast of Galicia by ship and on foot. Join the Eendracht in A Coruña, where a Tall Ships Races festival will be wrapping up, and leave harbour in a Parade of Sail with other vessels. Then make your own way towards Vigo, sailing along the coast before coming back to A Coruña to catch your flight back home. This adventure combines relaxed days under sail with coastal and inland walks. Explore the picturesque fishing villages, old pilgrimage routes, and dramatic coastal landscapes. Spend most nights in a harbour or sheltered anchorage, enjoying a comfortable night’s sleep without overnight watch-keeping to keep your strength up for hiking. The journey ends on 25 July, St James’ Day (Santiago Apóstol), when Galicia celebrates its patron saint with festivals, music, processions and centuries-old traditions. As you sail the coast and walk sections of the famous Camino de Santiago, you’ll experience the unique atmosphere of a region that has welcomed pilgrims from around the world for centuries.
Open to all Windseekers aged 15-80 (12-15 with an adult guardian).

Ports

A Coruña is a port town in the north west of Spain. Here you will find the Tower of Hercules, a lighthouse that has been in operation for 1.800 years! The town itself is an affluent commercial and tourism hub, with plenty of things to see and do. Visit the popular beaches, explore the city centre, or sample some of the many cultural activities. The Aquarium Finisterrae lets you explore the marine life of the region. But if you prefer your fish on a plate, A Coruña’s restaurants can help you out.

Vigo is a coastal city in Galicia, Spain, close to the Portugese border. Stroll along the charming streets, hidden just behind the busy port; climb up to the castro Fortress for an unforgettable view of the Vigo Bay or take a day trip to the Cíes Islands. Visit O Berbés, a fishing neighborhood, where you can buy the fresh seafood and relax on Playa de Samíl.

STO Garant

This Journey is covered by the STO Garant guarantee. You can find the conditions for this guarantee scheme on STO Garant’s website (www.sto-garant.nl/en/downloads).

This process is automatic and you do not need to do anything else. After receiving your booking, Windseeker will send you detailed information on how and when to pay for your journey – together with all the other important details.

What does it mean?

In short: you do not pay the booking amount to Windseeker but instead into an escrow account. This trust account holds your payment in reserve until your journey’s end. The booking amount is then released to Windseeker on the day after your trip ends. If Windseeker or the Ship should become financially insolvent before the end of your trip, STO Garant will implement the guarantee. The Guarantee Scheme details how you can make a claim under the guarantee in such cases. You can read more about this here.
