Kapitan Borchardt:
Hamburg (DE) - Wilhelmshaven (DE)

08 May - 13 May 2016

Sail along on this beautiful classic Polish sailing ship at the eastsea. You will start in Hamburg and will end up in Wilhelmshaven. When the wind is well and the direction okay the ship will have time for some stop(s) or anghoring. Each day will be different. Open to all ages, minimum age 15 years.

Ports

Hamburg is Germany’s second-largest city and home to Europe’s second-largest port, a major attraction with its canals, bridges, historic architecture, and the Museumshafen Oevelgönne. Highlights include the Miniatur Wunderland model railway, a walk through the tunnel beneath the Elbe, and the Speicherstadt district, while nature lovers can enjoy the zoo or the Planten un Blomen park.

Wilhelmshaven is a town on the coast in Lower Saxony, Germany. It is situated on the western side of the Jade Bight, a bay of the North Sea. It is adjacent to the Lower Saxony Wadden Sea National Park (part of UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site). Wilhelmshaven is Germany’s only deep-water port, and its largest naval base. Go visit the marine museum, coastal museum, aquarium, UNESCO World Heritage Site Wadden Sea Visitor centre or the “Botanischer Garten”. Or just walk around, enjoy.
