Blue Clipper:
Portimao (PT) - Saint George’s (GD)

07 December - 11 January 2020

Atlantic Crossing from Portugal to Grenada. Board Blue Clipper for an exciting journey of over a month. Escape the busy holiday season and choose the digital detox on the ocean instead. Gain a lot of sailing experience, working in day and night watches to bring Blue Clipper to the Caribbean. Learn to steer, trim the sails and navigate; check the horizon for dolphins and whales; relax on deck with a good book – or maybe a guitar? Have an unforgettable adventure and meet like-minded people. Depending on the speed of your crossing you might celebrate Christmas and New Year on the high seas or in the beautiful Caribbean. Open to Windseekers of all ages, minimum age 18 years.

Ports

Portimão is a Portugese city in the southern region of Algarve. Take a stroll along the Alvor Boardwalk, relax on the white sands of the Praia Da Rocha beach and visit the Museu de Portimao for a little history lesson. You can also take a dolphin watching tour or do one of the multiple offered water sports.

Saint George’s is the capital of the Caribbean island-state of Grenada. Visit Fort George for a dose of history and great views and then relax on a nearby beach. If you take your chocolate seriously you should stop by the House of Chocolate, and if you like diving you can’t miss the Underwater Sculptures!
