Blue Clipper traineeship: spend 64 days on board, becoming fully immersed in life as a crew member and learning everything about sailing a Tall Ship. This is a voyage of discovery. Not only will you discover everything you need to know about sailing a traditional schooner….you will discover a great deal about yourself! Learn every aspect of working and living on board a traditional sailing vessel. During your traineeship you will be assigned different roles, allowing you to truly experience every aspect of sailing and living on board.Whether you’re looking at a career at sea or simply want to experience a long-term sailing journey, this is the perfect opportunity to get your sea legs! Ports

Ullapool, despite its small size is the largest settlement for many miles around and a major tourist destination of Scotland. The village was founded in 1788 as a herring port by the British Fisheries Society. A few Cordyline australis or New Zealand cabbage trees are grown in the town and are often mistaken for palms. The harbour is still the edge of the village, used as a fishing port, yachting haven, and ferry port. Enjoy the beautiful surroundings here.

Liverpool enjoys ‘The most splendid setting of any English city’, the city lies in the bay of the Irish Sea. The city has long been on the forefront of maritime and industrial development, and boasts several UNESCO World Heritage sites, so there’s plenty to see and do. Find a map and visit the many landmarks & museums, or spend some time at the most impressive waterfront of the world. When the sun sets Liverpool’s vibrant nightlife will keep you entertained every night of the year!

This process is automatic and you do not need to do anything else. After receiving your booking, Windseeker will send you detailed information on how and when to pay for your journey – together with all the other important details.

 

What does it mean?

In short: you do not pay the booking amount to Windseeker but instead into an escrow account. This trust account holds your payment in reserve until your journey’s end.
