Eendracht:
A Coruña (ES) - Bilbao (ES)

25 July - 01 August 2027

Join the Eendracht for an 8-day sailing holiday along Spain’s spectacular Green Coast. Discover the coastlines of Galicia, Asturias, Cantabria, and the Basque Country: four distinct regions, each with its own unique culture, history, and character. Sail along the coast and, whenever conditions allow, go ashore to explore historic town centres, sample regional cuisine, or enjoy scenic walks. Visit cities such as Gijón and Santander, before setting course for Bilbao, the cultural heart of the Basque Country. The itinerary is designed to give you the very best of northern Spain, both from the sea and ashore. This journey perfectly combines relaxed cruising, authentic Spanish culture, and the spectacular scenery of the Bay of Biscay.
Open to all Windseekers aged 15-80 (12-15 with an adult guardian).

Ports

A Coruña is a port town in the north west of Spain. Here you will find the Tower of Hercules, a lighthouse that has been in operation for 1.800 years! The town itself is an affluent commercial and tourism hub, with plenty of things to see and do. Visit the popular beaches, explore the city centre, or sample some of the many cultural activities. The Aquarium Finisterrae lets you explore the marine life of the region. But if you prefer your fish on a plate, A Coruña’s restaurants can help you out.

Bilbao is a port in the northern tip of the Iberian peninsula, founded in the 14th century. Later on it became an important commercial hub for the Basque region. Today, Bilbao is a vigorous service city. The iconic Bilbao Guggenheim museum is a must-see. Also take some time to walk around the city centre and visit the Exteberria Park. Around the city you can do many outdoor activities such as rock climbing, hiking and surfing.

STO Garant

This Journey is covered by the STO Garant guarantee. You can find the conditions for this guarantee scheme on STO Garant’s website (www.sto-garant.nl/en/downloads).

This process is automatic and you do not need to do anything else. After receiving your booking, Windseeker will send you detailed information on how and when to pay for your journey – together with all the other important details.

What does it mean?

In short: you do not pay the booking amount to Windseeker but instead into an escrow account. This trust account holds your payment in reserve until your journey’s end. The booking amount is then released to Windseeker on the day after your trip ends. If Windseeker or the Ship should become financially insolvent before the end of your trip, STO Garant will implement the guarantee. The Guarantee Scheme details how you can make a claim under the guarantee in such cases. You can read more about this here.
